I’ve visited 33 countries, and this by far was one of my best trips! Just seeing those pyramids in person was amazing! Like HOW?! The Egyptian pyramids were built as tombs for pharaohs and other high-ranking officials. The construction of pyramids dates back to around 2630 BC during the Third Dynasty of Egypt. The most famous pyramids are located on the Giza Plateau, near Cairo. The three main pyramids are known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. The Great Pyramid, built for Pharaoh Khufu, is the largest and the only surviving of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Which is an amazing sight to see!!!! For me the Pyramids always looked smooth but seeing them up close, they are far from smooth.

Me touching one of the Pyramids
There are plenty of tours you can do to see the Pyramids or you can do it by yourself, although I recommend the tours. The tour picked us up from our hotel, took to the Pyramids, rode camels, took us to the Sphinx, lunch was included and returned us back to the hotel.
Dinner on the Nile River!
Let me hit you with some cool facts about the Nile River – the longest superstar in Africa! It stretches a whopping 4,160 miles and does a grand finale by flowing into the Mediterranean Sea.
Now, back in the day, the Ancient Egyptians knew what’s up! The Nile wasn’t just a river; it was their go-to spot for everything cool. Need a sip of water? Boom, Nile got you covered. Craving a tasty meal? Nile provided the goods for food trade. And guess what? Transportation? Nile was the original Uber for the ancients!
Sure, Egypt is mostly rocking that desert vibe, but the Nile brings the party by enriching the soil. Result? A crop fiesta with wheat, flax, and papyrus showing up to the party like VIPs.
The Nile is not just your run-of-the-mill river – it’s sparkling clean! Dive into its refreshing waters for the ultimate chill session. But wait, there’s more – picture this: a dinner cruise extravaganza! Live entertainment, mouthwatering cocktails, and a menu that’ll make your taste buds do the happy dance.
This was also a tour, dinner nile cruise with private transport. It included live music and a buffet style dinner. Everything was so good, and they pulled me up to join in the show! There are a few dinner cruise options but I definitely recommend to get the private transport option.
